heylife / Work

An AI for work goals that ships outputs, not summaries.

heylife is the AI accountability coach for your career. It drafts your weekly review, preps you before recurring meetings, summarizes long Slack threads into the two decisions that matter, and flags goals that have been slipping for two weeks before your manager notices.

01 / The job to be doneYou have goals. You also have eight hours of meetings.

You set quarterly goals in January. By March, your week is a wall of recurring meetings, half-read Slack threads, and one Notion doc you keep meaning to update. The 1:1 with your manager arrives, and you walk in cold; the Q2 talking points are still a draft from someone else; the project that mattered most a month ago has been quietly losing ground for two weeks. You do not need another to-do app. You need an agent that watches the work, drafts the review, preps the room, and tells you, honestly, which goal is wilting.

02 / What the work agent does for youConcrete outputs, on cadence.

  • Drafts your weekly review in Notion.

Pulls from your calendar, your commits, and the docs you touched, and writes the first draft of "what shipped, what slipped, what next" in Notion.

  • Preps you before recurring meetings.

Twenty minutes before your 1:1, your standup, your board prep, you get the brief: who is in the room, what they raised last time, what changed since.

  • Summarizes long Slack threads.

Designed to take a 90-message thread and hand you the two decisions, the one open question, and who is actually waiting on you.

  • Drafts the awkward Q2 talking points.

The slipped goal, the budget ask, the headcount conversation. A first draft, in your voice, ready for you to edit and own.

  • Flags goals slipping in the last 2 weeks.

Not a vanity dashboard. A direct flag in your morning brief: "Goal 3 has had no calendar time in 11 days; here is a 90-min block on Thursday."

  • Builds the 1:1 agenda before the meeting.

Drafts the shared doc, drops in last week's open items, and pulls the topics you mentioned in passing into a real list, before you walk in.

YOUR WORK AGENT

Meeting prep

The Meeting prep agent is the sub-agent assigned to the Work bucket. It owns your weekly review, your meeting briefs, your goal tracking, and the awkward drafts you keep avoiding. It coordinates with your other agents so a launch week does not steal time from your training plan, and a slipping goal at work surfaces in your morning brief, not a 4 PM panic. Read more on the Meeting prep page.

04 / Pick your role modelsYour council, not ours.

Most career apps hand you the same generic mentor. heylife flips that. Your council for Work might be a founder whose memos you reread, your old manager who taught you to write a status update, an operator like Keith Rabois on focus, and the friend who actually got promoted last year. We frame the weekly review, the goal tradeoffs, and the awkward meeting drafts the way they would. You pick them, you can swap them out, and we cite real source material rather than putting words in their mouth.

05 / Integrations that matter for workWhere your job actually happens.

  • Notion. Drafts and updates your weekly review, your goals doc, your 1:1 agenda.
  • Google Calendar. Reads the week, blocks goal time, prepares meeting briefs.
  • Gmail. Drafts the awkward email, the project update, the follow-up.
  • Slack. Summarizes threads, surfaces what is waiting on you, drafts replies.

06 / FAQThree quick questions.

How is this different from a habit tracker or to-do app?

A to-do app is a list that grows faster than you can clear it. A habit tracker counts what you did or did not do. heylife is built to ship the work itself: the weekly review draft in Notion, the 1:1 agenda, the meeting brief in your inbox at 8:40, the Slack thread summary. The point is not to track more, it is to ship more.

What if I do not want it to act, only suggest?

You stay in charge. heylife runs in autopilot or approval mode, per agent, per integration. You can tell the Meeting prep agent to draft everything but never send anything, never publish, never reply, until you tap yes. Every action is in a full audit trail, so you see exactly what your agent did and why.
