HEYLIFE / AGENT · RELATIONSHIPS BUCKET
Catchup scout.
The advisor lens that shows up when the text has been sitting in your draft folder.
Catchup scout is the advisor lens for the Relationships bucket inside heylife.ai. It carries the voices that argue when a relationship call is in front of you: the Honest friend that says call now, the Boundary that says fifteen minutes is enough, the Connector that drafts the opener you can't face writing cold, the Loyal voice that reminds you who notices every time. Not a contacts CRM. A room of takes for the moment.
Join the private beta01 / WHAT IT DOESThe moments where this lens speaks.
Most relationship apps turn your friends into a to-do list. Catchup scout inside heylife is a panel: it shows up at the moments who-stays-close gets decided, with voices tuned to who you are. Here are the moments where this lens speaks loudest.
Honest friend, Boundary, Therapist friend, Realist, Loyal for the guilty avoider. Honest mirror, Connector, Dry friend for the over-explainer. The room reads the shape of the problem, not just the topic.
Connector, Honest friend, Realist. They argue about texting "beer Saturday" without drafting, picking 90-min coffee instead of dinner you will bail on, or admitting you are in a season and calling later.
Romantic, Skeptic, Honest mirror, Loyal-to-current-life. The room argues. Some say reply with one line. Some say do not. The voices reflect who you are right now.
Honest friend, Realist, Loyal, Boundary-setter. They argue about going alone, sending a real maybe with the reason, or just committing and booking the flight while the prices are still survivable.
Honest mirror, Therapist friend, Dry friend, Loyal. Four voices for the over-explainer about to write a paragraph. Three for the avoider about to write nothing at all.
Honest friend, Loyal, Dry friend. The voices argue about whether to text now and own the lateness, send the long voice note tomorrow, or accept that you are going to call in person and that is better.
02 / WHAT IT REMEMBERSContext the panel reads, so the voices are grounded.
Catchup scout draws on the layer every heylife lens shares: who you have told the product about, what you said matters about them, and how often you actually want to be in touch. It reads who you have last connected with from Contacts, calendar invites, and the threads in your inbox, all read-only. Every voice in the room cites the memory it pulled from, so when the Honest friend says "you have not seen Marc in 71 days," you can see the trail and tell it if the count is wrong.
03 / INSPIRED BY YOUR COUNCILThe friends and writers you actually trust.
heylife does not ship stock advisor personas. You build the council. For Catchup scout, you might seat the people who have made friendship a discipline, not an accident.
- The friend in your life who is just good at this. The one who remembers your sister's name and your old job. Upload the kind of message they would send and Catchup scout will write the Connector voice closer to that warmth.
- Esther Perel, or whichever relationships voice you actually read. Real corpus, real citations, channeled into the Therapist friend voice for this season's calls. Not a roleplay; a teacher you have already learned from.
- A grandparent or mentor who showed up with letters. The model for the Loyal voice: someone who made being in touch a habit, not a vibe. Their style becomes a template the panel leans on when you do not know what to say.
04 / INTEGRATIONSWhat heylife reads so the voices are grounded.
- CONTACTSRead-only access to who is actually in your address book; never uploaded whole, just the people you tag for the panel.
- CALENDARRead-only awareness of when you last had dinner with your best friend, when the wedding is, what your week looks like.
- GMAILRead-only signal on the email you started to your old mentor and never sent, the wedding invite still in your inbox.
- APPLE HEALTHRead-only sleep and stress signal so the room knows whether tonight is a "call mom" night or a "go to bed" night.
05 / WHAT YOU STAY IN CONTROL OFAdvice first. You write the message.
Catchup scout is built to never speak in your voice without your nod. It brings the room of voices, the context for an honest take, and helps you see the shape of the moment. You write the text. You make the call. You book the dinner. The friction in writing it yourself is the point. All integrations are read-only and revocable in one click; the panel stops cold the moment you turn it off. The ledger is private to you, never shared, never sold, never used to score anyone.
Mini FAQ.
Does Catchup scout send messages on my behalf?
No. Catchup scout is an advisor lens. It surfaces the voices and the takes you need at the moment a relationship call is in front of you; you write the text, you make the call. The friction in writing it yourself is what makes it land. Sending is not on the roadmap for this lens.
Can I tune the voices?
Yes, per circle. Close friends get the warmer Connector voice you actually use. Old colleagues get crisper notes. You set it once in the council, change it any week, and the panel learns from your edits.
What does the panel actually read?
Contacts (read-only), calendar invites, the cadence you set per person, the notes you keep about people, and the council you have seated for tone. Message content stays on your device unless you explicitly turn it on for a contact you trust the panel with.
